Reliability 1 to 10: 9
Reliability explained:
I rode this little bike as hard as I could and the little guy just kept on going! I rode this in cold weather, and heavy rain, yet it never effected the bike starting up like it was new.
Ran out of gas once, but that’s my fault
Performance 1 to 10: 6
Performance explained:
It is hard for me to judge performance basing it on a 250cc motorcycle. I won’t compare it to other bigger bikes, but compared to 250cc bikes. I rated this a 6 as it ran fine but wish there was a little more for the 250cc engine. The bike would go along with inner city traffic just fine, never had a problem keeping up with traffic or winning off the line with the majority of small cars. Where I noticed the power loss was on any incline, I would even sometimes need to down shift going 80kph when on a decent incline. If this bike had any real aftermarket to pump it up a couple more horses, it would be a perfect little motorcycle, not to mention “gas saver!”
Riding with a small passenger was actually not that bad, it did make the smaller sized motorcycle fairly top heavy as there is not much weight to the bike. I didn’t notice much power loss riding 2up, but we were under 300lbs combined.
Comfort 1 to 10: 8
Comfort explained:
Very comfortable for a smaller motorcycle. Probably one of the comfiest 250cc bikes I “sit tested”. I wish I could have had another inch or 2 of leg room, as well as foot room since my big boots were a little cramped under the shifter… Had to do some adjusting there
Body looks/quality 1 to 10: 9
Looks/Quality explained:
My opinion… Best looking 250cc cruiser!
The overall classic look was great, especially how it looks like a bigger bike with a nice wide front wheel. Many times people were surprised when I told them it was a 250cc.
Things that have gone wrong:
I broke a bolt in the right hand controls assembly. I adjusted my bars to lean forward and needed to adjust the hand controls to match, tightened a little to hard and snap!.. Was a pain in the arse to drill out too. After that I replaced the bolts in the hand controls (part that holds/tightens them to the bars).
Overall summary/Final comments about this bike:
This is my first choice I always recommend to first time riders. It is a great little bike with a bigger feel. It builds great confidence on the road and really plants it self giving you that worry free feeling compared to riding something small and twitchy. Looks great, rides great, can’t ask for much more in a beginner cruiser. Re-sale is outstanding (purchased for $3400, sold for $3000). If there was aftermarket I would have never sold this bike as it would be saving me on gas and paying for bike number 2.
Would you recommend this bike to someone else?: Yes
